Home Study

The course begins when you receive the training program through the post and you complete the home study part of the course. 2 hypnotherapy manuals will guide you through the program in a simple, effective and easy to understand way. No complicated jargon, just simple techniques that work.

Along the way you have full support from your very own Master Hypnotist easily contactable by telephone or e-mail. We proud ourselves on our first class support program through our trainers and support web site.

The course will give you a good understanding of clinical hypnosis and will teach you different hypnotic inductions and deepening techniques allowing you to competent and confident in your abilities. The course will teach you how to help people in areas such as, stopping smoking, weight loss, stress management, fears and phobias, sleeping, addictions, self hypnosis, sexual anxieties, sales techniques, sports development, boosting confidence and so much more. On successful course completion you will be compitent to open your own hypnotherapy practice.

The program includes: 2 Hypnotherapy training manuals. You will also receive hypnotherapy scripts, hypnotherapy music on CD, 2 self hypnosis CDs and a hypnotic relaxation CD. You will receive training membership to The British Academy of Hypnosis whilst you go through the training program and support by e-mail, newsletter, telephone and web site.

Once you have completed the home study part of the program you will be assed by completing and open book exam. This exam is taken at home and comes with full support from your tutor. The exam is not there to fail candidates but to ensure you have an understanding of the material and feel confident in your abilities.

Once you have passed the exam you will receive a diploma in hypnotherapy and have the option to join the British Academy of Hypnosis and the NHS directory. Our exam pass rate is 100%. The exam is not here to fail you, just to ensure you are up to the required standard.

Hands on Training - Free for a limited time!

Here at The British Academy we feel that it is important to receive some form of hands on training and so we offer 2 days of hands on training, free with the home study program. These hands on training days are friendly and informative and although not a compulsory part of the training program they are well worth the time invested and you will also attain a second certificate of hands on training. The training takes place on weekends throughout the year and you can choose any 2 days that are convenient. Accommodation is not included in the price of the training program but we do include light refreshments and lunch on the 2 days.
